There is a big debate if Roger Federer will also partner with Stan Wawrinka in Rio (doubles) after he accepted to side with Martina Hingis in mixed doubles. The big problem is the heavy schedules. In fact, if things remain as they are right now, Roger may play 15 matches in 8 days (and that’s not good).

Apparently it is not only King Roger to call the shot, but also Stan is not convinced to play only doubles. During a recent interview Stan commented “I don’t want to hurry to make a decision because you’ve to put together many things like seeing if you’re healthy. I don’t know if I’ll play it. I may be playing only singles.”
Apparently Stan is also waiting for Belinda Bencic to accept his proposal to play mixed doubles. Belinda has already agreed to play doubles with Martina Hingis, so her schedule would be also very busy if she decides to play mixed doubles.
