Establishing himself as the greatest of all time, Novak Djokovic built up a record-breaking and impressive list of achievements. The 36-year-old holds the record for the most weeks at No. 1 (423), 40 Masters 1000 trophies, and 24 Grand Slam victories. He also has a lot to brag about off the court. Among Djokovic’s outstanding real estate holdings are two £8.8 million penthouses in New York.
In addition, Djokovic maintains homes in his hometowns of Belgrade, Monte Carlo, and Marbella. However, he went all out in New York City, living in an extravagant building with two apartments.
For two-bedroom apartments at the 565 Broome SoHo complex, built by renowned architect Renzo Piano, Djokovic reportedly paid £8.8 million ($11 million) in 2017. The Wall Street Journal claims that although the 2,000-square-foot apartments are on the same floor, they are not adjacent to one another and Djokovic did not rip down the walls to merge them.
