During a recent media interaction at the 2024 Madrid Open, Stefanos Tsitsipas and his fellow tennis stars found themselves in stitches over an unexpected challenge: identifying AI-generated images of themselves as toddlers. The playful exercise featured Tsitsipas, along with Carlos Alcaraz, Andy Murray, Taylor Fritz, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Gael Monfils, and Denis Shapovalov.
The image that sparked the most amusement and disbelief was Tsitsipas’ toddler depiction, with only Taylor Fritz recognizing any resemblance. Responses ranged from Carlos Alcaraz’s incredulous “I could never say Tsitsipas” to Andy Murray’s humorous disbelief, “Tsitsipas? Wow, I’m not having that.”
Even Tsitsipas himself couldn’t contain his amusement, adamantly denying the likeness: “No, you’re not allowed to do this to me, that’s not me. No, it’s not me. Come on. I can show you baby pics of me, that’s not even close!”
The light-hearted moment showcased the camaraderie and humor shared among tennis professionals, providing fans with a delightful glimpse into their off-court interactions.
