Nadal. I am not Federer

Rafael Nadal needs to do something that Federer  has already achieved: managing his tennis after passing his prime.

Roger has found the solution by changing his racket, his tennis and his overall strategy. The Swiss Legend accepted he couldn’t cope with the best baseliners from the back of the court and he decided to become more and more aggressive. This new way to play is also helping Roger not to spend too much time on court as at 34 his body has to take less battering.

Nadal: I am not Federer

During a recent interview Rafa commented about changing his style, but…”He has his style and I have my own style,” Nadal said “I’m not Federer, I’m Rafael Nadal. He has his style and I have my own style.

I for sure try to improve many things during all my career and for sure I’m working hard to be a better player. And if I am a better player for sure I will have the chance to play a bit longer.”
