Novak Djokovic revealed candidly in a recent interview that he is looking to bounce back at the French Open after a title-less 2024 campaign.

Djokovic Talks

In a recent interview, Novak Djokovic talked honestly about his title-less 2024 campaign and stated that he hopes to return to his best at the French Open.

In 2023, Djokovic had an incredible run that saw him add three major titles to his already impressive record. By doing this, he overtook Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal to become the Open Era’s most successful Grand Slam winner.

The accomplishments of Djokovic were honoured at the 2024 Laureus World Sports Awards. At the event, the Serbian won a record-tying fifth Sportsman of the Year title.

On the other hand, his 2024 season has been much different. After missing out on the Australian Open, Indian Wells Masters, and Monte-Carlo Masters, he still hasn’t taken home an event title.

During his press conference for the Laureus World Sports Awards, the Serb talked about his less-than-ideal performances. The top-ranked player in the world acknowledged that he is still working on his game and expressed optimism about getting back on track before the French Open.

Djokovic expressed his thoughts about it and said: “This year has been a bit different for me – the start. I’m still finding the best level of tennis and hopefully, that can come in Roland Garros.”
