Rafael Nadal had one of the worst season of his huge career. The King of Clay hasn’t won a slam or a master ATP1000, but he is a man and he takes the full blame for it. This is a clear answer to some experts (eg. McEnroe) that maintained that the real problem of Rafa was his “creator” Uncle Toni.
Nadal: This 2015 was only my fault
During a recent interview the Spanish Sensation shared his thoughts about his season and he made it clear that if he had problems that was only because of him “I was the problem, the block was mine. It’s not Toni’s fault. Usually people blame who is next to you and I’m not used to do like this. I prefer to be self-critical.
The problem wasn’t the fitness trainer nor the coach and no one else. I was the problem. Now I’ve to find solutions thanks to their help”.
