Federer, Nadal, Djokovic to play twice on Thursday in Rome

After the rain wiped out the entire Wednesday in Rome, Thursday will be super packed

Rain at ATP Rome

What a mess in Rome!

The rain wiped out the entire schedules on Wednesday, and the players will be required to play twice in Rome on Thursday.

This is horrible news especially for the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal that need to take care of their body.

Federer

Roger is scheduled to face Joao Sousa as the second match of the day on Campo Centrale (noon?) to then possible play a fresh Coric (he is already in the 3rd round) as the 3rd match of the afternoon at the grandstand (5 pm?). You can except an hyper-aggressive Federer as he will not want to spend more than 3 hours on court.

Nadal

The King of Clay is scheduled to play Jeremy Chardy in the second match of the Grandstand (noon?) to then possible compete in the Campo Centrale as the 3rd match of the afternoon (5 pm?).

Djokovic

Nole is scheduled to play Shapovalov at 1 pm on Campo Centrale to then possibly play as the 4th match of the afternoon at the Grand Stand (7 pm?).

Shapovalov, Thiem, Verdasco can play 3 matches

Some players that are also involved in doubles may play 3 times in the same days if they win their opening match.
