There has been a wave of withdrawals from the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. Top players like Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro are on the withdrawal list as they make their priorities known during the WTA season. Stuttgart’s WTA 500 event has one of the season’s strongest main draws. It is anticipated that Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, and Coco Gauff will compete.

At first, Navarro and Pegula had both announced that they would be playing in the competition. But the news of their withdrawal just recently surfaced after it was announced that both players would participate in this weekend’s Billie Jean Cup qualifiers. Navarro, who is participating in her first-ever BJK Cup match, is ranked second among Davenport’s singles players, trailing only Jessica Pegula.

It would have been Pegula’s and Navarro’s first time participating in the Tennis Grand Prix. To watch them compete in the event, fans will have to wait once again. Paula Badosa and Donna Vekic will take the place of both players.
