Emma Raducanu discussed her mindset during her match against Caroline Garcia at the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifier in France. She revealed that she struggled with the initial shots in rallies and opted for more aggressive approaches, including stepping in on Garcia’s second serves and being more offensive. Raducanu was pleased with her level of play and her ability to hold up physically during the match.
She noted that the indoor clay court was faster than anticipated and was successful in both stepping in and standing back. Raducanu expressed her love for representing her team and the motivation it provides.
