During the post-match interview, Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic was observed “shaking on the bench” following his run to the Monte Carlo Masters quarterfinals in Monaco. While playing against a strong opponent like Lorenzo Musetti, Djokovic disclosed his present health status in an interview that left the fans extremely worried.

Although at the time it was quite concerning, in the end, it proved not to be a major obstacle, and Djokovic managed to overcome it. In his most recent encounter at the Monte-Carlo Masters against Musetti, that shaking reappeared.

After winning the match he addressed it, acknowledging that he wasn’t feeling well at times, but he brushed off suggestions that it should be taken seriously.

Djokovic expressed his thoughts about it and said: “Well, I must say that at some moments of the game today, I was not feeling great physically. But that’s also part of the first several matches on clay. You know, when you play somebody as strong as Musetti, you know, where you have to earn your victory, have to work physically very hard, it’s kind of, yeah, very much possible that it will happen where you will somehow hit the wall physically and you have to kind of find a way up from that.”

He added: “Yeah, but I managed to find a way. That’s what matters the most. I keep going. I have to, as I said, believe that the process of training and everything that I’m doing with my team is going to give me rewards.”
