Federer angry with Djokovic’s comments

Roger Federer has win one of the most important matches of the year in London against Djokovic that this time was not in “Serbinator Mode”. The Swiss Legend was obviously elated with his performance, but he was unhappy for another thing.

Djokovic: I handed him the win

Djokovic is definitely one of the most “gracious players” (in tennis history!) when losing important matches to often give the credit to his opponents, but this time he couldn’t contain his frustration.

During his interview after losing to Roger, Nole commented “Credit to Roger for mixing up the pace, giving me always a different ball. He used the slice and spin very wisely. He served very efficiently. I made a lot of, lot of unforced errors. Just handed him the win, especially in the second set.”

Federer: I like to give me some credit

Roger wasn’t happy with Nole to reply “Well, he wasn’t as good as in the first set. I feel, honestly, with the way he’s played this season, you still have to put him away. It’s not an easy thing to do. It’s not like he played terrible. I know he can play better.

Why did he play that way? I’d like to give myself credit for that, quite honestly, yeah.”

Can’t wait for a possible Djokovic – Federer final, can we?
