It’s official. Rafael Nadal will tie the knot with Maria Francisca Perello in June in an abbey located in northern Majorca. More than 500 guests will share the tennis legend and his childhood sweetheart’s big day. The menu would be managed by Spanish three-star Michelin chef Quique Dacosta. The chef claimed that Rafa would eat a more vegetable-based meal than the rest of the guests who would enjoy a traditional meat as well as fish-based menu.
Rumors are everywhere
With the news of Rafa’s wedding public knowledge. Many are speculating that the two-time Wimbledon winner might miss this year’s edition of the tournament in order to enjoy his honeymoon.
In addition to this, there are rumors about the date of the wedding with many agreeing that the period from June 10th to the start of July is the most likely date. This is because the French Open takes place from May 26th to June 9th which makes the period from June 10th to the start of July the most likely date.
The couple has been together for the last 14 years. Rafa’s hometown of Manacor in Majorca is rumored to be the possible location for the couple’s wedding. No official comment has been made by the tennis star.
