World No. 2 Jannik Sinner is eager to participate in the Montecarlo Masters tournament despite the challenges of playing on clay, a surface he finds difficult. Sinner’s primary goal is to be prepared for the French Open and the Olympics, using this week as a practice week to gain experience and play more than one match. He is happy to be back at the special tournament and focuses on enjoying the experience rather than focusing on results.

This season Sinner has managed to achieve an overall 22-1 match record. Sinner clinched 3 titles in 2024 at the Australian Open, Rotterdam and Miami.
Sinner is scheduled to play next in Madrid (Mutua Madrid Open). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 22nd of April.
