Alexander Zverev does something special in Rome

Sascha Zverev is one of the nicest guys on tour, and on Monday he did something very special in Rome.

The world no.5 was playing doubles with his brother Mischa against Raven Klassen and Michael Venus. When the match was locked on a 3-3 scoreline, Sascha hit a winning smash that unfortunately landed on a young girl.

After the changeover, the German went to her little fan to put one of his headbands on her head to say sorry.

After the match, Sascha commented: “I obviously hit her with an overhead, which was not on purpose. I saw she was a little bit sad, crying. I thought that was the right thing to do, to give her a little present, cheer her up. I hope it made her day.”

Touch of a champion.
