Daniil Medvedev joins the elite list of players to cross $40 million prize money milestone

The most recent tennis player to reach the $40,000,000 career prize money milestone is Daniil Medvedev, but he lags far behind the top players on the prestigious list.

Only three players have crossed the $100 million mark, and ten players are listed on the roll of honour, consisting of seven men and three women. At the Indian Wells Open, Daniil Medvedev broke the $40 million prize money barrier. He then increased his bank account by making it to the Miami Open semifinal in 2024.

In terms of revenue, Medvedev’s best season was the one in 2023 when he won $11,548,023 in prize money. The victories in the Miami Open, Italian Open, Dubai Tennis Championships, US Open and Indian Wells were the biggest cheques he had received.

Now the world no.4, the Russian played his last match on the 29th of March when he surrendered to world no.2 Jannik Sinner 6-1 6-2 in the semifinal in Miami (draw).
