Weird stuff in the ATP realm as Sascha Zverev vented his frustration for being neglected by his tennis association.
What happened?
Sascha Zverev lost in the quarters in Madrid at the hands of a sensational Stefanos Tsitsipas. However, the German did strike an amazing tweener that set up a fantastic point for the world no.4. That was widely considered as the shot of the match, but it wasn’t included by the “official selection” of the ATP about the best shots of the tournament.
Zverev didn’t like it, and he vented his frustration on Social Media asking how it was possible that his tweener was not part of it… and he was probably right.
ATP published the best points from Madrid, ignoring Sascha’s tweener vs Tsitsipas.
