In an attempt to produce a show of his own, Stefanos Tsitsipas lost in the Miami Open’s opening round. He didn’t exactly have a stellar match against Denis Shapovalov. Many others saw qualities in the Greek’s reaction after the loss that suggested he was probably not up to the task.
After consistently placing in the top 10 of the ATP rankings, Tsitsipas has fallen from favour and isn’t in the top 10 since 2019. And his decline appears to go on forever. Fans were particularly concerned about his future after he lost 6-2, 6-4 to the ATP number 126 player Shapovalov.
Tsitsipas was recently observed working out hard to have a strong performance ahead of Monte Carlo.
Although he is currently having a poor 2024 season, the clay court season has begun, and that is his favourite surface where he could attain his maximum potential.
