The news that Novak Djokovic and his coach Goran Ivanisevic had split up was surprising for many tennis fans given the number of victories the two have shared.

Since starting their collaboration in 2018, Djokovic and Goran have shaped tennis over time. Djokovic has achieved the highest points of his illustrious career under Ivanisevic’s coaching.

In a recent interview, former US tennis player Andy Roddick said that Boris Becker and Marian Vajda were the options Djokovic had for his new coach.

Djokovic may be thinking about going back to his former instructors, the two of whom he has already worked with in the past. He established one of the greatest tennis reigns in history, starting with Vajda and finishing with Becker. Not quite official yet, but these rumours sound amazing and would make waves in the tennis community.

Djokovic expressed his thoughts recently and said: “I still don’t have a clear idea of who the new coach will be, nor if there will be one. I’ve had coaches since I was a kid, and now I try to feel for myself what I need, what I feel most comfortable with I’m comfortable. You will be notified if someone joins the team.”

In a recent interview, Roddick said about a possible coach for Djokovic: “Seems like he always kind of ends back up with [Marian Vajda] when something like this happens. That’s happened a couple of times. This is pure speculation; I know nothing but it wouldn’t shock me to see Becker in the mix of that conversation.”
