Tennis legend Serena Williams heaped Sinner with praise when the two reunited at the 2024 Miami Open after the Italian’s incredible semifinal victory against Daniil Medvedev.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion called Sinner unbelievable and praised her forehand as she stated her desire to have the shot. After Grigor Dimitrov defeated Alexander Zverev in a three-set semi-final, the Australian Open winner will face the 32-year-old Bulgarian in the Miami Open final on Sunday.

Williams was present for both of the men’s semi-finals at the Hard Rock Stadium on Friday. During her incredible career, Williams won a record eight titles in the Miami Open.

Sinner went to with Williams after his victory, and the former world number one was delighted by his play, as she lavished him with praise.

Williams said: “I wish I had my forehand like that.”

Sinner replied: “Don’t say that.”

She further said: “No seriously, the racquet speed, the power. You’re unbelievable.”
