Currently the world no.4, Elena achieved an overall 19-3 match record in 2024. The Kazakhstani is now competing in Miami where she bested the world no.91 Clara Tauson 3-6 7-5 6-4 and the world no.72 Taylor Townsend 6-3 6-73 6-4.
