Roger Federer remains perfect against Kohlschreiber. The Swiss Legend edges Phillip 6-4 4-6 6-4, but that wasn’t so easy as Roger looked a bit shaky especially at the end of the second set.
Federer: The crowd helped me
Roger commented “It was extremely difficult, especially midway through the second and the beginning of the third.
It was a tough set and a half for me. I wasn’t struggling, but I wasn’t quite feeling it. The spectators tonight maybe gave me that last push I needed, giving me energy and carrying me over the finish line,”
Next vs. Goffin
Roger will play David Goffin in the quarters. Head to head is 2-0 for Roger that has defeated the Belgian in last year’s final 6-2 6-2.
