Rafael Nadal has been criticized a lot in his career for being quite slow in between points. According to different formats a tennis player should serve within 20 (grand slams) or 25 seconds (other events). Rafa’s average in a match is often 25 seconds and that means that he doesn’t really follow the rule.
Lukas Rosol is not Nadal’s best friend (to say the least) and he tried to disturb Nadal in the Basel opener by complaining with the chair umpire about Rafa being slow (well, to be honest he wasn’t that wrong).
Nadal: We all know him
Rafa didn’t like it to comment “Well I was playing against someone who is who he is. I don’t wanna talk more than I did because everyone knows him on the tour”
Murray may agree with that…
