Super Roger Federer trashes Kudla and beats (so far) the flu – 2012 ATP Indian Wells – Video Interview

Roger really looks back to super top form.

It took only 57 minutes to demolish Kudla with great shots. The Swiss was always in full control of the game. He went on ‘mental vacation’ only when leading 4-1 (2 breaks up) in the first set when he gave back one serve game. But it was a clear no contest.

Apparently the biggest problem for Roger is the flu that is hitting Indian Wells.

‘We are fighting something of our own in our family,’ said Federer that is travelling with his wife daughters.

‘I have a bit of a combination. Not a terrible temperature but I have some things going on. I am the best off in the family. The rest of them are struggling much more.’

Talking about his next match against Raonic. ‘I am looking forward to that match,’ Federer said. ‘He’s a good player and up and coming. Sometimes it can help and sometimes it cannot help to have never played a guy before.’
