Roger Federer didn’t seem 100% convinced about the IPTL when this new format was launched, but eventually he agreed to give it a shot last year in India. Eventually Roger’s participation was a success and the Maestro decided to play also this year and to make his fans even happier he will play also in New Delhi and Dubai (he was already confirmed for Singapore).

King Roger is part of the UAE Royals (the team of Dubai) to side with Marin Cilic, Tomas Berdych, Ana Ivanovic, Kristina Mladenovic, Daniel Nestor and Goran Ivanisevic.

Federer: I am extremely pleased

Roger commented “I am extremely pleased to be playing for the UAE Royals in Dubai, New Delhi and Singapore.

The atmosphere created by fans in these cities is both warm and electrifying, adding another level of motivation for me personally when I compete against the best in the world at these venues.”
