As Alcaraz prepared to serve in the first set, a buzzing sound echoed through the stadium. The source? A large swarm of bees had descended onto the court. The players, officials, and spectators watched in disbelief as the bees took center stage, causing a delay in the match.
With the help of local beekeepers, they managed to safely remove the bees from the court without causing harm to the insects or any individuals present. The match was suspended for 2 hours!
