Carlos Alcaraz made it clear on Wednesday what his plans were for 2024 after defeating Daniil Medvedev in the final match in the California desert a year earlier. Since his incredible victory over Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon last year, Alcaraz has not won a major title.

He suffered a crushing four-set loss to Alexander Zverev in the Australian Open quarterfinals, and then last month, in his comeback match, he lost in the Buenos Aires semifinals. He had to retire from his Rio de Janeiro first-round match shortly after due to an ankle injury.

Alcaraz recently said: “I try not to think too much about success; I want to stay away from the noise. But it can be difficult to deal with. I try to enjoy my time on the court. Sometimes the bad moments can come to you, but I try to focus on myself and my team. I try to smile all the time. Making jokes lets me stay myself. Fame and attention are good most of the time, but sometimes you wake up in a bad mood and you just want to hide and not be recognized.”

Recently, Alcaraz was spotted giving autographs to his fans ahead of his campaign at Indian Wells. The fans and the cheering people surrounded him to have a look at their favorite young superstar among them.
