At the 2024 Australian Open, Jannik Sinner defeated Novak Djokovic 6-1, 6-2, 6-7, 6-3, proving that he was in a destructive mood. Former tennis player Andrea Petkovic recently reminded tennis fans of the moment when Sinner defeated Djokovic in Melbourne.

She recently expressed her concerns on a podcast, noting that Djokovic’s semifinal loss to Sinner was his worst performance in a long time.

She expressed her thoughts about it and said: “The one thing that I was worried about was seeing Novak Djokovic, that was the first bad match at a major tournament we have seen from him in a long, long time.”

After defeating Serb, Sinner advanced to his first Grand Slam final, where he won a gripping five-set encounter against Daniil Medvedev.
