Novak Djokovic is in ominous form. The world no.1 has destroyed David Ferrer in the Beijing semis 6-2 6-3 to record a perfect 28-0 record in the Chinese capital.
Nole will now play Rafael Nadal in the final. The two have recently played an exhibition in Thailand where Djokovic won 6-4 6-2.
Djokovic: I always expect a fight with him
Nole commented “I always expect a battle with him. I always prepare myself for the battle, no question about it. He’s the player I played the most against in my life. There are no secrets.
I know he’s going to try his best tomorrow to win his title, and I will do, too. I think we are both on a very high level; we know how to play these big matches. I’m sure we’re going to go out and play some good tennis for the crowd. The better player will win.”
Nadal: Today Nole is not I my league
Rafa doesn’t seem to be confident about his chances to beat the world no.1 “I know today Novak is not in my league; he has been on a different level to me this year. So for me to be in the final is great news and tomorrow is a match to try to enjoy and try to play the way that I want to play, and we’ll see.”
