Matteo Arnaldi played against Ben Shelton in the 2nd round of the Abierto Mexicano Telcel on Thursday when he lost 7-6(1) 3-6 6-3. Arnaldi could not win the match, but he executed an incredible running passing shot with his back end that stunned the crowd and also his gorgeous girlfriend.

Now ranked no.42, Arnaldi played his last match on the 28th of February when he capitulated to world no.17 Ben Shelton 7-6(1) 3-6 6-3 in the 2nd round in Acapulco (draw).
Until now, during this year Arnaldi achieved a composed 6-6 match record.
Arnaldi has scheduled to compete next in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 4th of March.
