Sam Querrey recently produced a great video comedy about the cost of a private session with both Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz.
The much-awaited match between Rafael Nadal and Carlitos Alcaraz is set for March 3 in Las Vegas. The Netflix Slam is an event that will be streamed on the over-the-top platform and held in the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
At the event will be local legends Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe, as well as their fellow countrymen, former tennis pros John Isner and Sam Querrey. During the event, the American foursome is anticipated to participate in a “Ace Challenge.” For a doubles match, Eugenie Bouchard, Asia Muhammad, and The Bryan Brothers have also been invited.
The private lessons
Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz are probably going to give private tennis lessons in addition to the high-profile matches. On the official resort website, it is stated that the one-on-one sessions with either Spaniard will set you back an astounding $150,000. The cost of a group session with all of them is $50,000 per person. In the meantime, the cost of a group session with John Isner and Sam Querrey is a rather affordable $2,000.
Querrey said:
“I think a lot of people are seeing this package going around the internet about the Netflix Slam. If you want Alcaraz or Nadal it’s $150,000. If you want to hit with Isner and myself, it’s $ 2,000. It’s the steal of the century.
I’ll walk your dog; I’ll teach you how to fold laundry; I’ll even give you a psychological lesson on how not to win a Major; I’ll do your taxes; I’ll make you some lunch; I’ll teach you how to make amazing social media content; I’ll even tuck you in at night.”
