Toni and Rafa Nadal have always been an item in tennis. Uncle Toni has been with the King of Clay “since the beginning of time”, but now with the Spaniard not playing at his very best there are hists that Rafa may change coach (is this ever possible?).
Back in July McEnroe made it clear that Rafa had to change coach (Toni wasn’t that pleased with that), now the idea is coming around once again.
Toni: Rafa will decide
Uncle Toni commented “I think you need to ask Rafael, but we have a group and I’m the coach of Rafael forever, since Rafael was three years old and things were always good for us.
It’s true that this year he’s going a little down but I am sure the comeback of Rafael is coming soon. Maybe if next year Rafael is playing not too good, then I think he can think about some changes in his game or in his team.”
Let’s see, but can you ever imagine Rafa not being coached by his uncle?
