Alcaraz says Sinner’s success is due to his hard work and commitment

Carlos Alcaraz claims that Jannik Sinner's outstanding accomplishments over the past six months can be attributed to his simple everyday work commitment.

Alcaraz And Sinner Meet

According to Carlos Alcaraz, the secret to Jannik Sinner’s remarkable achievement over the last six months is just putting in the daily effort.

After winning his first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this month, Sinner has risen to No. 3 in the rankings and is pursuing Alcaraz for No. 2.

Alcaraz stated his remarks about Sinner in an interview: “I have always said that there is no secret. He has worked very hard and it shows. In every tournament, he is very focused on the things he has to do; he is a hard worker. I told Juan Carlos (Ferrero) many times when we saw him. If I compare him with the Sinner of before, he has changed to become more professional. Before, he was also, but now he is even more so, working every day and having things clear. The day-to-day work pays off and that is what has happened with Jannik Sinner I am happy for him and his team.”

It’s been difficult for Alcaraz. On the tour, the Spaniard has not advanced to a final since August. In his words, the two-time Grand Slam champion thought he was still at his best before sustaining an ankle injury this week.

Alcaraz added: “I don’t think I’m far away, but I still have to reach that level that I have already shown on many occasions, both in tennis and confidence, knowing how to manage certain moments.”
