Ranked world no.17, the Russian has managed to achieve a compiled 8-3 win-loss record in 2024. The Russian is participating in Doha where he beat the world no.60 Fabian Marozsan 6-4 7-5, the world no.43 Emil Ruusuvuori 3-0 ret. and the world no.46 Alexei Popyrin 7-612 6-2.
