Currently ranked no.652, the Spaniard played his last match on the 5th of January when he lost to world no.40 Jordan Thompson 5-7 7-6(6) 6-3 in the quarter in Brisbane (draw).
Currently, during this season the Spaniard achieved a 2-1 record.
He is also scheduled to play in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open) on the 6th of March and Barcelona (Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell) on the 15th of April.

Djokovic has scheduled to compete next in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 4th of March.
Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic fought against each other 59 times. Their current record is 30-29 for Djokovic. The last time they played, Rafael Nadal won 6-2 4-6 6-2 7-6(4) in the quarter in Paris (French Open) in May 2022.
