She credited her longevity on tour and love for the game as the reasons for her continuous improvement, revealing that she saved six match points against Vondrousova to become the oldest person to reach a semi-final in the WTA tour in Dubai. Cirstea’s determination, resilience, and appreciation for her fans enabled her to overcome her six-point deficit and make it to the semifinals of the prestigious WTA 1000 tournament.
