Alcaraz’s injury worry can also result in his falling in the rankings as Jannik Sinner has the potential to accumulate important points in the upcoming months following a strong start to the season. The Spanish player needs to protect 1,000 points in Indian Wells. Sinner is just 535 points behind Alcaraz, and the Australian Open champion may potentially surpass the Spaniard at Roland Garros.
