Rafael Nadal, the world-renowned tennis player, has expressed his anger over the many injuries he has faced throughout his remarkable career. The Spanish player’s career has been plagued by failures, even though he has won 22 Grand Slam titles and played some of the best tennis ever seen.
The 37-year-old’s success has not come without a cost, as over the years, several medical issues have prevented him from competing in many events. Nadal has accomplished incredible things despite these difficulties. But he acknowledges that he’s grown tired of having to overcome obstacles in his physical form regularly.
Nadal expressed his thoughts recently about it and said: “I have never hated tennis. It would be very ungrateful of me. Tennis has given me many beautiful things—things that I would never have been able to experience without it. I couldn’t hate it, but I get tired of having a body that doesn’t respond to me the way I would like.”
Nadal has struggled with a variety of problems, including persistent foot and knee issues, stomach discomfort, and a chronic hip condition that required him to miss nearly a year of play. Following a hip injury sustained at the 2023 Australian Open, the tennis legend made a comeback to the game in January.
🎾 Rafael Nadal when asked by @_anapastor_ if he ‘hates’ Tennis in any way, like Agassi once said:
“I have never hated tennis. It would be very ungrateful of me. Tennis has given me many beautiful things, things that I would never have been able to experience without it.
