Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, shared on social media the horrible harassment she endured from rude and disgusting fans at the Super Bowl, and many others took to the platform to share their own stories and offer support.
When the Kansas City Chiefs defeated San Francisco in overtime on Sunday, the influencer was in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Riddle claims she and her companions experienced unimaginable levels of abuse instead of an enjoyable and thrilling weekend filled with tailgates, football, and parties.
Riddle wrote in her Instagram story: “I wasn’t going to post about this but I think it’s important to. I can’t believe the level of harassment we dealt with this weekend from men. In the last 3 days, I’ve been grabbed, groped, harassed, and catcalled incessantly—basically, every few minutes when we were out in public. And it was really bad at the game today. We couldn’t enjoy the game without getting bothered by drunk, rude, gross male fans. It’s extremely stressful and scary.”
In addition, Riddle claimed that the harassment grew to such an extent that she had to spend most of the third quarter in an Allegiant Stadium bathroom, where she fell into a panic attack.
She wrote in another story: “I have male sports fans who follow me and luckily I’ve never experienced something like this in tennis, but I just hope any guy reading this understands the gravity of their words and actions. We’re all just here to try and watch a football game. Getting grabbed by grown men is scary.”

Now ranked no.9, Fritz played his last match on the 2nd of February when he beat world no.597 Vladyslav Orlov 6-3 6-4 in the Rubber 4 of the Davis Cup (draw).
During this season Fritz achieved a composed 6-2 record.
Fritz will compete next in Acapulco (Abierto Mexicano Telcel). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 26th of February.
