Rafael Nadal recently showed an amazing feat of expertise by showcasing his remarkable underwater swimming skills.
Nadal is getting ready to return to the tour for the first time in a long time at the Qatar Open, which starts on February 19. Since suffering a hip tear during his Brisbane International comeback, the Spaniard has been sidelined and had to withdraw from the Australian Open.
To get in better shape for his comeback, the 22-time Grand Slam winner has increased his training, using the pool at his Mallorcan academy. In a recent social media post, Nadal demonstrated his remarkable lung capacity by swimming a full lap underwater and only coming to the surface to catch his breath halfway through the return trip.
