Andy Murray puts on a powerful display against Thanasi Kokkinakis to win 6-3 6-0 6-3. The Scot was absolutely too much for the young Australian to comment “I was hitting the ball very cleanly from the beginning and I put him under a lot of pressure on my serve. Playing for my country is always a proud moment, and I always play well here.”
In the second match it was time for Bernard Tomic to beat world no.300 Evans 6-3 7-6 (7-2) 6-7 (4-7) 6-4.
Doubles
The score-line is 1-all and today we have the doubles that most likely will decide the outcome of the tie. The official line-up is Jamie Murray with Inglot against Hewitt and Growth, but it’s rather possible that Andy will join his brother.
