Andy commented “Having seen the images broadcast on the news in recent weeks I felt I had to do something to help the millions of children and their families who have been forced to flee their homes and had their lives turned upside down. Andy also used a page in justgiving.com (https://www.justgiving.com/AndysAces) where he asks his fans (and beyond) to contribute

“For every ace I serve in a match between now and the end of 2015, I’ll donate £50 to Unicef’s work for children in emergencies.

Spurred on by the child migrant and refugee crisis, I’m asking tennis fans across the world to donate and help every child whose world has been turned upside down by conflict or disaster. Together we can make a safer world for every child.

What’s more, my sponsors Standard Life, alongside ATP and LTA, are matching each donation I make pound to pound – quadrupling the money we’re raising for children in danger. Please donate – and help me ace it for Unicef and children around the world!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Thank you!”

Super… let’s hope that Ivo Karlovic will do the same… just in order to get some more money!

WE NEED LOTS OF ACES ANDY!!!
