Novak Djokovic is one of the best players in tennis history and he is also outstanding in his behavior outside the court.
The world no.1 had to face a rough situation in the US Open final as virtually everybody in the Stadium was backing (and loud) Roger Federer, Djokovic didn’t blame the crowd for this.
Djokovic: Federer deserves the full support
A very gracious Novak commented “I can’t sit here and criticize the crowd. On the contrary, I think it’s logical to expect that a great player and a champion like Roger has the majority of the support anywhere I play him.
He absolutely deserves to have the support he does because of all the years and success that he had, and the way he carries himself on and off the court. No question about it.”
