After winning the Australian Open, Jannik Sinner returned to Italy and received a warm welcome as a national hero.

Despite just being 22 years old, Sinner ultimately established himself as the best Italian tennis player of all time. Though he still has a long way to go and a bright future, he has already won a good number of prizes.

He accepted an invitation to Rome and met with Giorgia Meloni, the prime minister of Italy at the time, who was overjoyed that her country had won the trophy. In addition, he went to the historic Colosseum, where he posed for pictures with the trophy, and he hosted a press conference where many reporters gathered to question him.

Sinner said at the press conference that he preferred living without social media and advised young people to use them responsibly. Sinner said:  “I always tell young people to be careful with social networks because things are projected that are not true. People convey that they have a fantastic life when, in reality, things may be going badly for them. I don’t like them because I don’t think they show the truth and, honestly, I live much better without them and I will continue that way.”
