Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka are among the “winners” after the US Open.

Once again Rafa didn’t have one of his finest slam in New York as he crashed out in the 3rd round at the hands of Fognini. Still a “declining” Ferrer (injured) helped him to rise from being world no.8 to world no.7.
Wawrinka
Stan had an excellent US Open to reach the semifinal. This result and Nishikori’s early crash helped him to be the new world no.4
Nishikori
Tough luck for Kei that lost tons of points after losing in the first round at the USO. Kei was the 2014 runner-up. Now no.6 from being no.4
Cilic
Marin had also a great US Open after reaching the semifinal, but he couldn’t defend last year’s points (he was the champion). The Croatian loses 5 places to be ranked no.14.
