In an incredible men’s singles final in Melbourne, Jannik Sinner defeated Daniil Medvedev 3-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 6-3 to win his maiden Grand Slam title dramatically.

Sinner is becoming more and more well-liked back home. Even though soccer is still the most popular sport in Italy, more people are watching Sinner’s dominating games.

A news source claims that Sinner will be performing at the San Remo festival following the Australian Open. Plans to invite the musical tennis player to the prestigious event are now in the works. However, Sinner might have to skip the Marseille tournament or make a quick, short flight from France to Italy due to a tennis calendar jam-packed with events.

Sinner expressed his thoughts about it and said: “Knowing me, I wouldn’t go there. I sing terrible, and I dance worse. I’m in denial. Here in Melbourne, they tried to get me to Yodel. Forget it! I have to play tennis.”

Sinner added: “I am very calm. I have no intention of altering my priorities; tennis will remain the most important thing in my life. Now I’m going to rest a few days and then go back to the court. There is nothing to change from before. I am happy to have given joy to the Italian fans and to have done a positive thing for the country but the work is not finished; on the contrary, it has just started. I have to go back to the gym and become stronger physically, and even mentally, a little something can be added. Opponents now know me well.”
