Dayana Yastremska had a fantastic run at the recent Australian Open, where she reached the semifinal after qualifying for the main draw through the qualifications. Dayana accepted a late wildcard and she will compete in Linz, a WTA500 event that will take play next week.
This was her statement on Instagram: “I am looking forward to return to Linz. I remember that this tournament is special © It has a great history and a very charming atmosphere. It’s exciting that it received an upgrade and I am happy to compete in the first edition as a WTA 500.1 am hoping to bring my good energy and my good shape from Australia to Upper Austria! I would love to play for the title in Linz”
