Roger Federer seems to be quite happy with his new invention. The SABR (“Sneaky Attack By Roger”) is a novelty introduced by Roger in August after a casual session with Paire.
During his “day off” (Thursday), Roger has been filmed practicing the SABR with Stefan Edberg on the AD court.
The SABR could be a valuable tool against Wawrinka in the US Open semis as Stan tends to be a bit tight when the moment gets tough… so additional pressure (on a break point?) may help the Maestro.
