Roger Federer has recently impressed with his new invention: the SABR (Sneaky Attack By Roger).
What’s the SABR?
Roger decides “randomly” to attack the second serve of his opponent with a half-volley (ok.. that’s not normal….we know), and apparently… it works.
Becker criticism
Boris is not a fan of this tactic to say “My generation would hit directly with the service in the first match. If he would have played against McEnroe, Lendl and Connors or even with me, we would have said: ‘Roger, with all honesty, you know to do it well, but now I come to you.’ In my generation, players would not carry as is happening now, that’s for sure.”
