After playing in the recently concluded United Cup, Novak Djokovic is getting ready for the Australian Open, which is his next challenge. With ten victories under his belt, he is the most successful champion in the history of the tournament.
During his United Cup run, he battled the injury and had one loss 4-6, 4-6 against Alex de Minaur in the quarterfinals and two wins 6-3, 6-2 over Zhang Zhizhen and Jiri Lehecka 6-1, 6-7 (3), 6-1.
Laura Robson, a former British tennis player, thinks it would be difficult for the world No. 1’s opponents to defeat him in the Australian Open, despite the setback.
Djokovic was observed practising against Alexander Zverev on January 9, and it seemed the two were making nice shots all along.
