Emma Raducanu, Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, and Angelique Kerber are the four Grand Slam champions who will compete in the 2024 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, which gets underway on April 15.

Additionally, two of the four have multiple past titles from the competition. The two-time defending champion, world No. 1 Swiatek, won the title in 2022 and 2023. In 2015 and 2016, former world No. 1 and home favourite Kerber won both matches in a row.

Sabalenka has a great track record in Stuttgart as well, having advanced to the final in the last three years. The world No. 2 hasn’t yet claimed the trophy. In 2021, she lost to Ashleigh Barty, and in 2022 and 2023, she lost to Swiatek.

With her maiden tour-level clay-court quarterfinal experience in 2022, Raducanu will be participating in her third edition of the tournament. The British player’s final appearance in Stuttgart in 2023 marked the end of her season, as she underwent surgeries on her wrist and ankle. Reaching the second round, Raducanu returned to Auckland this week after an eight-month absence.
